IV Therapy

Intravenous therapy (IV) is a therapy that delivers fluids directly into a vein. The intravenous route of administration can be used both for injections, using a syringe at higher pressures; as well as for infusions, typically using only the pressure supplied by gravity. The intravenous route is the fastest way to deliver medications and fluid replacement throughout the body, because they are introduced directly into the circulation. Intravenous therapy may be used for fluid volume replacement, to correct electrolyte imbalances, vitamin deficiency and to deliver medications.

Here’s how an IV drip can help you.
Many vitamin, mineral, and amino supplements are not well absorbed by the body when taken orally. Administering nutrients via an injection or intravenously (IV) allows for a much higher dose of these nutrients to be infused directly into the body.
Drip Therapy sessions typically take 45 minutes. New clients can expect a visit to be at least one hour – an extra 15 minutes is allotted for consultation and nursing assessment. A mini-drip or “express drip” will typically take 15-20 minutes and intramuscular injections such as B-12 shot can take as little as 5 minutes.
